JERRE.COM is brought to you by Gerald (Jerre) Smith. Retired IBM engineer enjoying film projects, tennis, golf, wine, astronomy and summers in Maine. Not necessarily in that order...  Most definitely some new and interesting  projects coming this way.
CHAPLIN: THEN & NOW
Chaplin Film Locations T&N
JITNEY T&N  (c) 2000:  Shot on location in San Francisco, California.  A year 2000 perspective of Charlie Chaplin's 1915 "A Jitney Elopement"  stitched into Chaplin's original 1915 film. Both versions were shot on location in San Fancisco, California. How many Charlie Chaplin T&N locations will you see?!

Lambeth Workhouse
CHARLIE' CHARLIN'S  LONDON  (c) 1999:  Awhile back, I had the pleasure of spending a few days in London walking the streets of Charlie Chaplin's youth. Nothing fancy, just me with my first DV camera, Frank Scheide (Chaplin Historian) and Tony Merrick (local Lambeth boy with ties to Chaplin). This little adventure is now avaliable for viewing.
ROAD TOURS: THEN & NOW
MY FIRST T&N ROAD TRIP  (c) 2006:  Shot on location in Maine. A vintage automobile, a vintage road book, and a guest rider. Go back in time like never before.

You'll find most of my filmed T&N adventures  on my YouTube - Back2Maine channel. All complete and uploaded at the highest resolution available.

Edna Purviance EDNA PURVIANCE'S NEVADA  (c) 2000:  During September of 2000, I returned to Edna's Nevada with my first DV camera. Nothing fancy, just some raw footage shot and chopped as I headed for Paradise Valley via Lovelock and Winnemuca.

A few items from my Edna Purviance file:
Back2Maine
The place I stay when my adventures take me to Maine.  Back2Maine is nestled in the hills of Dexter, Maine, just a minute from pristine Lake Wassookeag. Back2Maine combines the unique charm of yesteryear with the modern features of today. It truly is a wonderful home in a wonderful area. And remember, although it has the look and feel of a B&B, it's not; the home and grounds are yours and yours alone.
