The Essanay Crew is back with a fantasy that's bound to please your sense of adventure. On April 9. 1915, after finishing the final scene of her latest Keystone 1 reeler, "Wished On Mabel", Mabel Normand rushed back to the St. Francis hotel to freshen up for a lunch date with Charlie Chaplin. What happened next has been subject to rumor and speculation since that time. Did she meet Charlie for lunch at the St. Francis cafe? Why did she return to Golden Gate Park in the afternoon? Why wasn't she at Roscoe Arbucke's Saturday night party? Where and the hell did she go and how did she make it back...

" the movie is awesome! "

" very clever and thought provoking "

" it was a fun fantasy "

" I loved the time shift "

" the sepia sequences were so sharp and clear and the color sequences where very nice too "

"I loved the movie. Technically, it seemed very well done; you must have access to some high quality equipment? There were lots of subtleties that made it very interesting. Nice touches with all the original note paper, bookets, postcards, etc."
